ME: Exactly. I’m not going to counter argue that, because its right. Exactly right.
YOU: So… what then? We might as well just die sooner than later???
M: No.
Y: Why not?
M: Because “the world” is not temporary.
Y: It’s not???
M: This moment is temporary. These conditions in this moment, they are temporary. But that does not mean “the world” is temporary. Something in the world must be permanent. If nothing was permanent, there would be no continuity through the changes in moments. We would cease to exist when this present moment became the past, and then be totally reinvented in the new present, without continuity or connection between the two moments. But that is not the reality we experience, at all.
y: what is permanent?
M: brahman is permanent, and is the core of every experiential moment. BUT, if you are lazy, no good will come of this answer. You won’t comprehend it. You have to comprehend it directly, yourself, by your own efforts. Try to become more aware of yourself as a perceiver at the core of the changing perceptions.
Y: Then there is something valid to live for?
Exactly.
