How Planets Feel About Each Other

The Basics

The Sun (the monarch-type) and Saturn (the democratic-type) are the two diametric archetypes. The other five planets side with one or the other.

Jupiter (law) and Mars (enforcement) side with the monarchial Sun. For now, lets say the Moon (emotion) is like the Sun.

Venus (love) and Mercury (fairness) side with democratic Saturn.

The planets in one group don’t like the planets in the other group.

The Full Picture

Each planet has quirks that modify this basic description.

The Sun and Saturn are the most archetypical and least quirky. The Sun’s only quirk is that it has less dislike than expected for Mercury. Saturn’s only quirk is that it has less dislike for Jupiter.

Jupiter and Venus are similar, having 1 mild quirk each. Jupiter has less dislike for Saturn. Venus has less dislike for Jupiter.

Mars is a little more erratic. It has less dislike then expected for both Venus and Saturn.

The two remaining planets Moon and Mercury are extremely fair and deviate the most for the normal polemic.

The Moon has much less dislike than it should for Mercury. Mercury does not return the favor at all, but has much less dislike than it should for the Sun.

The Moon has less dislike than we would expect for Venus and Saturn, but not quite as much friendship as we would expect for Mars and Jupiter.

Mercury has less dislike than expected for Mars and Jupiter, but less affinity than expected towards Saturn.
